Simon began playing piano at the age of six and went on to study jazz piano and improvisation at Skidmore College, playing in the Skidmore College Jazz Ensemble. Simon now lives in the Capital Region with their partner and their tailless cat, Zelda. When not teaching or teaching themself new instruments, Simon independently writes, records, and produces music, video essays, and skits under the name Simon Wesley.
