Sam Atlas is a freelance trumpeter in New York City. She performs regularly with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, New World Symphony, and Calliope Brass. Sam is also an avid educator and believes that each individual learns and grows in different ways. She strives to communicate her knowledge in a variety of forms in order to ensure that each student can maximize their learning and find their own voice through the trumpet. Sam completed her MM in Orchestral Performance at the Manhattan School of Music under Ethan Bensdorf and earned her BM at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music under Roy Poper.
