Rebecca Farrell is a Music Educator in the Niskayuna Central School District where she teaches Elementary General Music, Chorus, and Special Education Music. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and her Performer's Certificate from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam (2019) where she studied Voice. She is currently in the process of completing her Master of Music degree in Music Education from her alma mater. Rebecca has a wide range of performance experiences including a number of musical theater productions, such as "The Sound of Music," "Oklahoma!," and "Fiddler on the Roof" (Golde), performing as a soloist with Crane Chorus and the Crane Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, playing the role of La Ciesca in the operas "Gianni Schicchi" and "Buoso's Ghost," and winning the Intermediate Division of the 2019 Dolven Vocal Awards. She has also taught and served as a Music Education Supervisor with the Jamaica Field Service Project in Portland, Jamaica, held both Music Director and Assistant Music Director positions for local theater productions, and taught voice lessons privately.
