Peter is a seasoned player, accompanist, educator, and arts advocate. Peter is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and has played and taught in and around Saratoga Springs since 1990. While teaching piano fundamentals is a core instructional goal, Peter also helps students to foster their creative gifts through improvisation and composition. Peter is also the past president of Friends of Music Saratoga Springs to support music education in public schools and he frequently plays piano and organ at his local church. While Peter is adept at creating the perfect synthesized sounds for pop and rock, he's equally comfortable on the acoustic piano in jazz, folk, and church settings as well as digital recording using Apple Logic. Peter has also created an introductory course in live audio engineering to help the next generation appreciate the intersection of the arts and technology (STEAM).
