Dramatic soprano, Elissa Premerlani Harrigan is a native of Albany, NY. A 2003 graduate of the Purchase College Conservatory of Music, she continued on to receive her Master of Music Degree in vocal performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2005. Since that time, Mrs. Harrigan has sung with Hudson Chamber Opera, Cohoes Musical hall With C-R Productions, Albany Pro Musica, Hubbard Hall Opera and Capital Opera. During the summer of 2006, she traveled to Italy, participating in the Daniel Ferro vocal program. From 2011-2013 Mrs. Harrigan directed the Diocesan School Choir. Mrs. Harrigan has been teaching voice lessons for almost 15 years! In addition to having a home vocal studio, she was Adjunct Voice Professor at RPI, and has also had the pleasure of being a voice instructor at Troy Music Academy, and Music instructor at Brown School at St. Kateri Parish School. Mrs. Harrigan teaches music full time and is also music ministry director at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School in Schenectady, NY. In her free She also sings for St. Kateri Church in Schenectady, NY.
