Adam is an alumni of Northern Kentucky University, where he majored in Music Education and Percussion Performance. Before relocating to New York in 2021, he spent nearly a decade in Austin, Texas, working professionally as a drummer, bassist, and pianist, averaging 180 performances a year, touring the US, Canada, and Europe, and recording on 30+ albums. As a teacher, Adam enjoys getting students excited about playing music, and tailoring his instruction to meet their individual needs and learning styles. Adam's experience as an educator spans over 20 years, having served as an assistant band director for schools in Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas, and as a private lesson teacher on drums, percussion, bass, guitar, and piano, working with students of all ages and ability levels. In addition to his experience as a performer and teacher, Adam also works as a composer and arranger, offering bespoke music production for studio sessions, commercials, podcasts, and films. Outside of music, Adam enjoys bowling, weightlifting, and dad jokes, and lives on a rural property outside of Albany with his wife and their chihuahua, Frank.
